Christmas Chapel 2010

Even after having to reschedule our Christmas chapel due to the ice, it was quite a success and the children were completely adorable! Here are some photos to recap (including some from our "dress rehearsal" as well):

It's Cold Outside!

While our outside playtime is becoming shorter and shorter with how very cold it it outside, the children are still delighted to have whatever time they can outdoors and always find "work" to do.

The Mustard Seed Song

This song is a favorite among all of the Primary children. Whenever we sing this song, we always sing it at least twice.

The Mustard Seed is very small,

Before it starts to grow,



And inch by inch it stretches up,


So all of us will know,


That even though we're little now,


Some day we're going to be,


Strong and big and full of power,


Just like the Mustard Tree.

Carrots!

Today we harvested some carrots - they look more like turnips, but the kids were still very excited to pull them out of the garden!

These two were being so sweet to each other - checking out their different hair. They are both 18 months, I. is nearly bald and C. has thick brown hair .

Since it was so cold outside, we took the toddlers on a walk to the sanctuary where we admired the beautiful stained glass windows, the looooooong pews and the Christmas decorations.

During Lunch Bunch, a gigantic package arrived - our free books from Usborne Books! The kids were so excited to see the box filled with books for our new library and started reading them right away :)

The toddlers are hard at work making special presents for their families!
